Meet The Staff

Carrie Blackburn

My name is Carrie Blackburn. In 2018, almost 4 years ago, I was given the opportunity to join the Dowd Family team. After nine years of being a hygienist, I still absolutely love my job, and one of the biggest reasons is the amazing team that I get to be a part of. My childhood orthodontist took time out of his day to explain the positives about his career in the dental field. This encouraged me at just 13 years old into my now profession. When I’m not at work, I love spending time with my favorite Ohio State Buckeye fans and my family. My husband of 19 years serves in the military, giving me a patriotic passion for our soldiers and country. I am especially proud of our two teenage boys. Our faith in Jesus has opened doors to an extended forever family of friends. With our free time, we love to be outdoors doing something as simple as walking our two fur babies, going to the beach or hiking to things more adventurous, such as skiing and white-water rafting.
